The Barn Theatre Rental Opportunities

Facility Rentals

• Jennie-O Main Stage Theatre holds 220 seats within a beautiful space, includes the lobby, restrooms, and concession area.
• Nancy Geiger Event Center seats 60 and standing 120 people. A unique layout complements your event, includes the lobby, restrooms, and concession area.
• Willmar Area Community Foundation Mezzanine and the Southwest Initiative Fund Lobby area are great overflow areas to enhance the event center and theatre space or for a small gathering.
• Bremer Bank Rehearsal Room is our 2nd floor meeting room comfortably seats 30 people, great for an all-day conference, meeting space or gathering includes a large tv available for projection.

 

Rental is contingent upon specific space, time needed and set-up. The theatre’s needs are first consideration. Security Deposit of $100 – due with execution of agreement - included towards total.  Separate Damage Deposit of $200. Round/rectangle tables and chairs available.   Please call for Nonprofit/Repeat and Stakeholder discounted price: *For Barn Theatre stakeholders, local non-profits with a history of Barn Theatre volunteering/participation and repeat renters. (Minimum of one rental in the previous 12 months)

 

Property Rentals – Furniture & Props

The Barn Theatre Property Shop has over 2,000 pieces, all available to rent. These may include period furniture, stage furniture and many decorative and household items. Property rentals can be done, by appointment, at The Barn Theatre, or rentals can be shipped for a fee. Rental prices are quoted for 30-day rentals and vary in price, depending on the piece. 
 

Must be pre-coordinated with staff/volunteers for both pickup and returns.  Payment must be made at time of rental.  Must be returned cleaned and in good or original condition.  Rentals are for 30 days increments.  Average cost is $5.00 per piece but special, vintage or specific items may be more.  

Costume Rentals

The Barn Theatre Costume Shop has over 15,000 articles, all available to rent. We have currated our rooms to make it easy to find what you need. The costumes have been donated and/or handmade pieces from all eras and is open to the public for rentals.   1900’s to the 2000’s are stocked in over 16 rooms. Characters, accessories, hats and shoes are abundant. We have complete costume plots for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The King and I and the Wizard of Oz.  Costume rentals can be done, by appointment, at The Barn Theatre, or rentals can be shipped for a fee.  Rental prices are quoted for 30-day rentals and vary in price, depending on the piece.
