April Gallery: Bill Bannon Travel Photography

Bill  has been interested in photography since learning it as a military journalist in the early 1970's. He is most interested in landscape and architecture photography, which is reflected in the photos he has taken on some of his recent travels. He enjoys shooting outdoors, whether at Carlos State Park in Alexandria or along the Thames River in London.

Bill is a Willmar area family law attorney and a part-time Child Support Magistrate. He also enjoys appearing on the Barn stage, fishing and RVing.

What are your ticket policies?
There are no refunds on tickets. Ticket exchanges may be made at least 24 hours in advance of purchased performance with a $2.00 per ticket transfer fee (fee is waived for Barn Theatre Season Ticket holders). Any unused ticket(s) may be turned into the Box Office before any performance for a tax-deductible donation receipt.
When are the performances?
All productions on weekdays and Saturdays start at 7:30 pm. Sunday matin?es begin at 2:30 pm. Please visit the Shows page for specific dates and times for each production.
At what time should I arrive?
Please arrive early for performances. Doors to the lobby open at least one hour before curtain time, and guests are admitted to the auditorium 30 minutes prior to the start of the performance. If guests are buying tickets or picking up tickets at the Box Offices, they should allow at least 15 minutes to do so, as there are often lines. As a courtesy to all guests, late arrivals and guests re-entering the theater may be asked to wait to be seated until a suitable break in the performance occurs, at the discretion of the House Manager.
At what age should I bring my children? Etiquette questions?
While we at The Barn Theatre are always excited by the prospect of inspiring a love for performing arts in children, full-length performances may not always be appropriate for children under the age of six. This policy does not apply to performances of Hayloft Productions. Children are welcome to attend these performances, designed especially for young theatergoers, with responsible parent or guardian. All persons entering the theater-regardless of age-must have a ticket, including children sitting on a parent or guardian's lap. These tickets are sold at the full Student price. Regardless of age, all persons attending should be able to sit quietly through a performance. If patrons become disruptive during a performance to other members of the audience, ushers will insist that they leave the theater. No refunds will be available.
May I take pictures or record the performance?
Please turn off or silence cell phones, pagers, and other ?noisy? devices as a courtesy to others. Text messaging while in the theater is not allowed. Due to contractual obligation and as a courtesy to the artists, the use of cameras and recording devices is strictly prohibited. Violators may be asked to leave without refund.
Do you offer anything to eat or drink?
We have a concession stand offering coffee, pop, water, and cookies during our intermissions. There is also a Wine Bar available in our lobby one hour prior to performances and during intermission.
What should I wear?
Most guests arrive at the Barn Theatre in what might best be described as ?business casual? - clothes in which they feel comfortable. Suit jackets and ties are not required for men. Jeans are perfectly acceptable. Individuals having a special ?night out on the town? may arrive dressed as such. During holiday season, some families-especially the children-will come dressed in holiday finery. The temperature in the theater varies from production to production based on audience and cast size. We suggest bringing a sweater or light jacket to insure you are as comfortable as possible.
Do you cancel performances due to inclement weather?
At The Barn Theatre we believe that ?the show must go on!? Occasionally, however, a performance must be canceled, usually due to inclement weather. In the event of a show cancellation, tickets will be exchangeable or refundable, with refunds given in the form of a complimentary ticket certificate.
